Laser treatment of onychomycosis is a novel treatment modality that improves the cosmetic appearance of the nails. Although no study has yet proved the efficacy of this treatment for onychomycosis, and although it is still not cleared by the FDA for this indication, it has emerged as a safe and effective technique that might enable from prescribing antifungal therapies, thus preventing potential drug interactions and systemic effects. …
