Nausea, dizziness and drowsiness: case report

A 43-year-old woman with complex regional pain syndrome type 1 received ketamine as an initial bolus infusion of 10mg followed by a continuous infusion of 10 µg/kg/hr after ineffective treatment with lidocaine. Twenty minutes later, she reported severe nausea and dizziness; ketamine was subsequently discontinued. She refused further ketamine due to nausea and drowsiness [outcome not clearly stated]. …
