We at the editorial office are constantly trying to improve the transparency and integrity of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. We have undertaken efforts such as double-blinding manuscripts when they go out for review and increasing the number of reviewers for each manuscript to three. To further these efforts, the journal soon will introduce an evidenced-based medicine (EBM) element to the review process. …
