The letter by Kountouras and colleagues refers to the recent paper by Codolo et al. [1], reporting that the neutrophil-activating protein (HP-NAP) produced by H. pylori inhibits the growth of bladder cancer in a mouse model. In the letter, the authors raise some concerns regarding the possible targeting HP-NAP as a therapeutic strategy due to its possible neuronal damaging effects. …
