Following a previous WHO Medical Product Alert in December 2023, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has investigated potential contamination of oral liquid medicines and identified suspect drums of propylene glycol, reports WHO in Medical Product Alert No.1/2024. Analyses revealed unacceptable levels of ethylene glycol contamination, ranging from 0.76% to 100%. …
