In the article “Comparison of Absolute Thresholds Derived from an Adaptive Forced-Choice Procedure and from Reaction Probabilities and Reaction Times in a Simple Reaction Time Paradigm” by Peter Heil, Heinrich Neubauer, Andreas Tiefenau and Hellmut von Specht, the authors report the following error:…Because of a programming error, the SPL values listed in the caption to Table 1 and those plotted in Figures 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10 are too low by 8 dB. Thus, from these SPL values, it appears that listeners were 8 dB more sensitive than they were in reality. This error does not affect any of the difference measures or conclusions of the study.
