In this issue of Skeletal Radiology you will find a new feature in our journal, publication of abstracts from recent scientific meetings. For a number of years, we have published the abstracts from the Special Scientific Session of the meetings of the International Skeletal Society. This issue contains the abstracts from the combined British and European Societies of Skeletal Radiology from their meeting on 7–9 July 2005. A forthcoming issue of our journal will include abstracts from the recent meeting of the Society of Skeletal Radiology. Abstracts from other meetings which are pertinent to our disciplines will be considered for future publication. Attempts will be made to have these abstracts appear in a timely fashion related to the dates of the meetings. …
