In this issue, you will find a host of articles covering various mental health and addiction related topics around the globe. In their article, Zaidan et al. examine the hazards and harms of alcohol consumption among non-psychotic psychiatric clinic attendees in Oman. Fei Xu studies how cigarette smoking is associated with family income among urban and rural men in Mainland China. Szabo and Griffiths critically look at exercise addiction in British sport science students. Csiernik examines substance abuse and perceptions of mental health system consumer-survivors. Parke, Griffiths and Parke report on positive thinking as a coping mechanism among slot machine gamblers.
