Excerpt

Radical cystectomy (RC) accompanied by pelvic lymph node (LD) dissection and urinary diversion (UD) stands as the established treatment protocol for muscle-invasive bladder cancer (BCa) and high-risk, recurrent, non-muscle-invasive BCa.1 However, this procedure is associated with considerable morbidity and mortality.2 Attempts have been undertaken to standardize the assessment of surgical outcomes.3 However, a dedicated tool for recording the early outcomes of robot-assisted RC (RARC) is lacking, with existing criteria primarily focusing on longer-term outcomes.4
