This second edition of Core Topics in Airway Management is a substantial improvement over the inaugural edition of the book. This hardcover text includes 32 chapters which are organized into five sections: “Basic Science” (40 pages), “Clinical” (150 pages), “Specialties” (100 pages), “Ethics and the Law” (ten pages), and “Exam Questions” (ten pages). Each chapter includes colour illustrations, well-labelled diagrams, and a “Key Points” section which is followed by a list of suggested articles for further reading. Unfortunately, the material is not referenced. More than 30 authors have contributed to this edition, with the majority practicing in the United Kingdom. …
