The annual meeting of the American Hernia Society (AHS) was convened on Feb. 26, 2004, in Orlando, Fla. USA, at the beautiful Renaissance Orlando Resort at Sea World. The Continuing Medical Education (CME) evaluation of the meeting, relative to the quality of content and presentations, was performed by the office of Continuing Medical Education of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. From the standpoint of quality of content and quality of presentation skills of the invited speakers, the meeting was rated approximately 4.5 on a scale of 1–5. The invited speakers and Mr. and Mrs. Wilkes are to be credited for the outstanding success of this meeting. …
