People inclined to preserve bodies of dead relatives, as reactions to grief and acts of denial, show traits of abnormal personality or psychosis and social isolation. They probably had a pathological relationship with the deceased [1]. However, the subjects who intentionally keep the bodies of their loved ones for financial profit are not socially isolated, their past medical history shows no evidence of a psychotic breakdown, and they try to hide the bodies [2]. Sometimes the reasons to preserve or abandon bodies of deceased relatives are more complex. …
