On the basis of my wide-ranging experience in interventional ultrasound, I warmly recommend this publication, which is both a practical guide and an atlas in the field. This topic is usually relegated to the final pages of encyclopaedic books or discussed in small ultra-specialized volumes, which are difficult to find and understand by the few supporters of this distinct echographic procedure. Furthermore, in these publications the discussion is often esoteric and relates only to a small number of interventional methods (therapeutic and/or diagnostic) and anatomical regions. …
