Werner Paulus, Professor of Neuropathology at the University of Munster School of Medicine, a close friend and scholar, becomes Editor-in-Chief of Acta Neuropathologica on 1 January 2005. As a long-standing member of the Editorial Board, he was elected at the Editorial Meeting in Vienna, on 15 March 2004. With his new editorship, there will be a revolutionary change not only in the editorial management, but also in the online manuscript admission and review processing, which will speed decision and publishing of the Journal. …
