Blood–CNS barrier, neurodegeneration and neuroprotection: recent therapeutic advancements and nano-drug delivery

Recent advancement on new therapies to induce neuroprotection in central nervous system (CNS) following injury or neuroregeneration necessitates reviewing the current state of the art in the field. This volume is a refereed collection of selected reviews and original research articles written by the leading experts in the field of neurodegeneration and neuroregeneration. The authors highlight new avenues for neuroprotection and/or neurorepair in different CNS injury models based on their own work and in the light of recent findings in the literature. …
