We read with much interest the study by Tenaka and colleagues reporting on their prospective phase II study on the use of neoadjuvant bevacizumab and temozolomide for the treatment of glioblastoma [1]. To our knowledge, this is the first study examining the preoperative use of bevacizumab with temozolomide in patients with resectable glioblastoma.
