Preoperative CT has become an essential part of the management protocol of complex ventral hernia. It helps in deciding objectively whether a patient requires a conventional surgery or a muscle release procedure (with or without PPP/Botox injections). Multiple preoperative and intraoperative assessment methods based on calculations of volume and ratio have been proposed. However, which is the best of them needs to be evaluated. …
