Abstract
We reported a 54-year-old patient with a ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm who successfully underwent aortic root replacement with coronary artery bypass grafting. The images of the perioperative findings were impactful. Although previous studies reported a high mortality rate in cases of ruptured pericardium, we rescued the patient with no postoperative adverse events.
