We appreciate the scientific discussion we caused with our study and would like to comment the concerns, which were raised in the Letter to the Editor. We still believe that we could improve the knowledge regarding the novel surgical technique of combining a stand-alone ALIF with a TDR for the treatment of low back pain because of degenerative disc disease refractory to conservative treatment. …
