Abstract
Revascularization of coronary artery using right gastro-epiploic artery is an accepted procedure. Other than usual complications of coronary revascularization, such patients can have diaphragmatic hernia with incarceration of the intra-abdominal organs, which can be fatal if not identified and treated early. In this case, such a rare complication is reported with diaphragmatic hernia and incarceration of splenic flexure of the colon. As surgical emergencies are managed by general surgeons, awareness of such a rare complication will help in early detection and management.
