A 2.5-week-old white boy was seen after intermittent episodes of gross hematuria. He had no hypertension or fever and had normal blood parameters. An approximately 5×4×3 cm mass was palpable in the left flank. Additionally, there had been a hepatosplenomegaly. Several urine analyses revealed a mild microhematuria (40–200 erythrocytes/ µl) and urine culture was negative. …
