I read with great interest the article by Vitale et al. [
1] on endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) training. It is clear that ERCP is the most difficult and complex procedure in digestive endoscopy. Using this intervention, the endoscopist has to deal with a great variety of situations.
