Oncogenic Activity of Mill Hill (Harris) Strain of Rous Sarcoma Virus for Hamsters

Abstract

IT has been known for some time that Rous1 sarcoma virus (RSV) is not species specific2–5. The demonstration that some strains of RSV are capable of inducing neo-plastic lesions in rodents6,7 showed that the virus is not class specific.
