Abstract

Cryptophthalmos is a rare eyelid anomaly that is part of Fraser syndrome (cryptopthalmos-syndactyly syndrome). The two major features of this syndrome, cryptophthalmos and syndactyly, may be absent in some cases. In this paper, a case of Fraser syndrome without syndactyly is presented. The importance of ear and nose anomalies in this syndrome is emphasized.
