Zusammenfassung
Zur Abklärung einer vermuteten Implantatallergie steht der Epikutantest mit Implantatmetallen und Knochenzementkomponenten zur Verfügung. Hinweise auf eine lymphozytär geprägte Entzündung kann auch die (immun)histologische Untersuchung von periimplantärem Gewebe geben. Die Identifizierung von histologischen Allergiecharakteristika sowie die Wertung der Aussagekraft des Lymphozytentransformationstests über den Sensibilisierungshinweis hinaus wird allerdings erst nach größeren Studienkollektiven möglich sein.
Abstract
To clarify a suspected implant allergy, a patch test with implant metals and bone cement components can be used. The (immuno)histology of periimplant tissue may also indicate T-lymphocyte-dominant inflammation. Identification of histological allergy characteristics and evaluation of the lymphocyte transformation test beyond indications of sensitization will be possible only when larger studies are available.
