A furan derivative fromCornus officinalis

Abstract

Dimethyltetrahydrofurancis-2,5-dicarboxylate a furan derivative has been isolated from the fruits ofCornus officinalis, and it was isolated for the first time in the nature. The structure was elucidated by NMR spectroscopic techniques.
