Intralesional corticosteroid injections in combination with internal urethrotomy in the treatment of urethral strictures

Abstract

In the treatment of 38 patients with urethral stricture, 21 received intralesional corticosteroid injections, combined in 17 cases with internal urethrotomy.

The aetiology of the lesion is discussed, together with a review of the pertaining literature, and the results of the treatment are evaluated.
