Summary
Percutaneous bone grafting with a specially devised milling cutter was used in 21 patients with nonunion or delayed union of fractures of the tibial shaft. Union was obtained in 18. The technique is safe, simple and can be done under local anaesthesia.
Résumé
Une technique simple de greffe osseuse percutanée utilisant une tréfine spéciale pour le traitement des retards de consolidation et pseudarthrose de la diaphyse tibiale est décrite. Vingt et un patients ont été traités par cette méthode et la consolidation a été obtenue chez 18 d'entre-eux. La technique est simple, sans danger et peut être utilisée sous anesthésie locale.
