State Hospital Psychiatric Patients Evaluate Their Treatment Teams
Abstract
State hospital psychiatric patients evaluating their treatment teams gave them an average rating equivalent to a grade of B. Patients under 30 years of age gave significantly more negative ratings than patients over 30. Patients hospitalized from seven to 12 months gave significantly more negative ratings than those hospitalized for less than seven months or more than 12 months. In evaluations of the team members by category or discipline, physicians and nurses received the highest rankings.
