To the Editor: Subcutaneous fat necrosis of the newborn (SCFN) is an uncommon panniculitis often associated with fetal stress. While typically benign, SCFN can lead to severe hypercalcemia, requiring prompt intervention. Standard treatments include intravenous fluids, diuretics, corticosteroids, and bisphosphonates [
