SGLT2 inhibitors new treatment option for children with type 2 diabetes?

MedNet.nl: Would SGLT2 inhibitors improve glycemic control in children with type 2 diabetes as effectively as in adults? Efficacy and safety of canagliflozin were studied in 171 children aged 10 to 18 years. This showed that the SGLT2 inhibitor may offer a new treatment option for this age group.
