Prof. Ann McNeill is Professor of Tobacco Addiction in the National Addiction Centre, King’s College London, UK. She has worked on tobacco and nicotine for nearly 40 years. Ann's early research examined adolescents’ dependence on smoking but then expanded to include smoking cessation and harm reduction strategies, to reduce both individual and population level impacts of smoking including those related to health inequalities.
She led the Public Health England/Office of Health Improvement and Disparities commissioned e-cigarette evidence reviews (2015–2022).
