Dr. Samar El Khoudary is a Professor and Vice Chair for Education of Epidemiology at the School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh, USA.

She is a cardiovascular epidemiologist with her main scientific research area focusing on cardiovascular epidemiology of the menopause transition. Dr. El Khoudary has evaluated associations and mechanisms linking menopause, sex hormone levels, lipids, fat deposition and subclinical measures of atherosclerosis in midlife women.

She is a current Board of Trustees member of the Menopause Society and has served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Academy of Cardiology 2018.
