Intensive care unit (ICU) survivors often face long-term physical, cognitive, and mental health issues after discharge. In 2010, Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) introduced the term “Post-Intensive Care Syndrome” (PICS) to describe these problems [1]. Post-ICU clinics are follow-up outpatient clinics for ICU survivors to assess and manage the impairments acquired due to the stay in intensive care. Sharshar et al. have made a remarkable attempt to explore the effects of long-term outcomes associated with this clinic. Nevertheless, some concerns need to be addressed [2]. …
