Design

Retrospective study.

Setting

Level I academic Trauma Center.

Patient selection criteria

Adult patients with femoral shaft fractures in which a bilateral computed-tomography (CT) scan of both femurs was performed, with a two years minimal follow-up.

Outcome measures and comparisons

Criteria related to the patient and the fracture were studied. We fixed the following angles, i.e. 10° and 15°, as references for calculating the RM.
