MM is a frequently encountered malignant hematological disorder, typically localized within the bone marrow. A subset of patients may develop extramedullary manifestations, with metastasis to other soft tissues and potential involvement of multiple organs and tissues, either as the initial presenting symptom or concurrently. Literature indicates that the incidence of extramedullary spread at the time of diagnosis of multiple myeloma ranges from 7 to 18%, with an additional 20% experiencing extramedullary spread during the course of treatment [1]. Extramedullary plasmacytomas (EMPs) within the spinal canal can precipitate severe spinal cord compression syndrome (SCCS), which is characterized by rapid disease progression.
