About this journal
The leading open access journal in the field of neurosciences, Molecular Neurodegeneration encompasses all aspects of neurodegeneration research at the molecular and cellular levels. Neurodegenerative diseases, which are often associated with advanced aging, have become a significant public health issue as the aging population grows larger. As the official journal of the BrightFocus Foundation, we highlight recent advances focussing on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of these disorders.
