Doege-Potter syndrome in solitary fibrous tumor of the retroperitoneum is rare. Here, we present a 45 years old Chinese male patient who was admitted to our center after discovering an abdominal mass for 5 years and intermittent episodes of hypoglycemia for 3 months. Imaging examinations confirmed a 19.2*12.3*22.9 cm mass in the abdominal cavity. Through multidisciplinary meeting and rapid preparations, the tumor was completely removed and patient’s hypoglycemia symptoms disappeared. Total operation time was 130 min, and total blood loss during surgery was 10 mL. Post operative pathology results confirmed solitary fibrous tumor. This case highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary meetings in quick and successful management of complex cases.
