Vitiligo is characterized by sharply demarcated, depigmented macules and can be triggered by even minor trauma, which is known as the Koebner phenomenon [1]. Most lasers and IPL devices used in dermatology emit light that is strongly absorbed by melanin and can cause epidermal damage.
