1] published in a recent issue of
Digestive Diseases and Sciences. The authors showed that endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for asymptomatic choledocholithiasis carries a significant risk of post-ERCP pancreatitis (PEP) compared to symptomatic cases, as demonstrated by their systematic review.
