Dr. Carsten Israel is an internationally renowned expert in cardiac arrhythmias, especially pacemaker therapy, ICDs, cardiac resynchronization therapy (“biventricular pacing”), atrial fibrillation and the work-up of unclear syncope.

He is particularly interested in the education of young medical professionals, demonstrating his special didactic skills both as a lecturer in cardiology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main and at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster, as well as a speaker at a wide variety of continuing education courses.
