Familial Mediterranean fever during and post-COVID-19 pandemic

I read with great interest the article by Günendi Z et al., on clinical course and outcome of COVID-19 in FMF patients [1]. The authors found that the COVID-19 rate was as low as 7% in patients with FMF, moreover, the low rate of severe outcomes was detected (20% hospitalization, 3.4% complication and no death). Advanced age was found as a risk factor for hospitalization. Not only there was not a poor outcome of COVID-19 patients with FMF, but the course also seemed to be mild in this disease. …
