A 57-year-old female, with type 2 diabetes, was followed for an ovarian dermoid cyst for 15 years. Salpingo-oophorectomy was performed after surveillance imaging showed enlargement and features concerning for malignant transformation. The ovary contained a 6-cm mature cystic teratoma including skin, fat respiratory mucosa, and a discrete 1.8 × 1.7 × 1.0 cm solid nodule. …
