Pulmonary vein stenosis (PVS) is a feared complication of pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) with thermal ablation techniques and has been reported in approximately 0.1–0.8% of patients [
1]. Severe PVS (defined as > 70% luminal narrowing) can be associated with severe morbidity, especially when more than one PV is involved.
