Cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS-HIPEC) is a technically complex and financially intensive procedure. Prior studies have examined the CRS-HIPEC learning curve from both an individual and institutional perspective, focusing on technical and oncologic outcomes as measures of surgical proficiency. These studies suggest a steep learning curve of 90–200 cases for CRS-HIPEC.
