The International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) is a global scientific nonprofit organization that unites professionals from different sectors, including academia, regulatory agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, pharmacies, clinical research organizations, independent investigators, and patient advocacy groups. Its mission is to advance pharmacovigilance (PV) and promote patient safety. With members from over 100 countries, ISoP serves as a hub for exchanging the latest developments related to the safety of drugs, biologics, vaccines, and devices. The ISoP members are organized into regional chapters and special interest groups (SIG), which reflect specific geographic areas and professional interests. The 2024 ISoP annual meeting was cohosted by the North American Chapter of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (NASoP), which is one of 12 chapters. As of October 2024, NASoP had 249 active members representing diverse sectors. NASoP is dedicated to promoting ISoP’s vision by fostering collaboration across North America and the Caribbean, playing a vital role in driving innovation and enhancing knowledge-sharing in pharmacovigilance. …
